Goodbye August, Hello September

Inspired by zavara's blog post here, I have decided to make my own list of favourite things from this week/last week/unspecific time frame.

1. Maroon 5

uh no, it's not just cuz adam levine is really hot (and his voice is even hotter). I HAVE DISCOVERED THE MAGIC OF MAROON 5!! Right now 'Hands all Over' is one of my favourite songs and it is doing a good job of waking me up in the morning by being my alarm clock tone, haha. And also, um, Adam Levine's voice is like baby unicorns vomiting rainbows. aldkfnsdf';dfl. I've always liked Maroon 5's songs on the radio, but I never really paid any attention to them. And fuck, I only realised a while ago that "This Love" has fucking dodgy lyrics aye. I sang that song all the time on singstar when I was like, nine. My innocence... shit. come to think of it, most of Maroon 5's songs are pretty dodgy. All the more reason to like them though, right?

Lol it's so awkward saying "ADAM LEVINE IS SO HOT" cuz people always think that I'm saying avril lavigne and they give me a weird look.

2. Nikita

Ohmygod don't even get me started on Nikita. It really pisses me off that people don't give it a try because they think it looks boring or shit or sounds lame but IT'S SO FRICKIN GOOD. For example, Sueyeon wasn't really keen on it until I convinced her to go watch it, and she spent the next 6 hours watching it back to back and becoming addicted. I feel like most shows on the CW are actually so damn good, but because it's a small tv company or whatever, the shows on it never get any big awards that shows like glee does. Nikita is basically about the girl Nikita, who used to work for this government company called 'Division' kinda like the CIA. However, division killed a lot of innocent people and Nikita decided that she didn't want to work for Division anymore so she went rogue and started stirring up all kinds of shit for Division and kept fucking up their missions. Seriously, everyone should watch Nikita. It's got action for the boys, and romance and emotional manipulation for the girls. Or the other way around if you're into different stuff. i like the action as well, so i don't judge haha.

In fact, I just watched two episodes of Nikita, haha.

3. Yoplait Strawberry Yogurt in the big tubs

only in the big tubs though. I dont know why but it tastes completely different in the little tubs. THIS YOGURT IS SO GOOD. when i first tried it i kinda flipped out and just consumed half the tub. IDK, i really like this yogurt hahaha.

4. Spring

YES SPRING IS HERE! in fact, today is the first day of spring and i can already feel it warming up! so so so happy. You know how many items of clothing I couldn't wear in the winter coz they just didn't layer well and weren't warm enough? Spring means I'm not constantly living in my oversized puffa jacket anymore YAY!

5. Anna Sui Rouge Jar

So, Joanna's mum went to Korea and apparently brought back a bunch of these so she gave me one! EEEE i love em! They are adorable and come in adorable packaging and AAHH THEYRE JUST SO ORIENTALLY CUTE. its lipbalm/gloss that is clear in the jar, but when you put it on your lips, it makes your lips redder and plumper and idk, the blood rushes to the skin in your lips or something. It smells really nice as well :) kinda the same smell as the 'perfume' i made last year in science out of rose petals. so i guess the lip balm smells like roses?
